WHAT IT IS NOT.

This is not a means to game the system. This is not an attempt to put monetary value on any kind of prejudice, racism, xenophobia, misogyny​, homophobia, transphobia, islamophobia, antisemitism, agism, ablism, etc. and the very real suffering (emotional, physical, financial, etc.) that can come with it. This is also not about comparing whose trauma is worse. Any of these things would be in poor taste and not a topic for discussion in this workshop.

DO BUSINESS SCHOOLS REALLY CARE ABOUT DIVERSITY?

The proof is in the money! In case you haven't noticed, scholarships designed to promote DEI (diversity, equity, and inclusion) are the 2nd most common, after merit-based scholarships. For decades, study after study has shown that diverse teams in companies consistently outperform their more monochromatic counterparts - in both increasing profits and mitigating loss. The secret? Multiple differing perspectives to solve complex problems and reach ambitious goals.
